01

Account and product data

Orbit Jobs stores account and product data needed to operate the authenticated job-search experience, including saved jobs, saved searches, recent views, dismissed jobs, and subscription-related account state.

The product is built to support search, filtering, account workflow actions, and analytics access control. It is not positioned as a public social network or a data broker.

02

Analytics and operational monitoring

Orbit uses product analytics and operational monitoring to understand usage, verify product behavior, and troubleshoot problems.

The repository currently references PostHog for analytics and Sentry for monitoring. Those systems are used to improve reliability, understand key workflow events, and maintain the product.
